Education, PhD from the University of Vienna, Germanics,
Film, Media and Theater studies. Training and education in different
techniques of physical theatre: pantomime with Walter Bartussek (Vienna),
mime corporel with Victoria Fuentes (École Etienne Decroux), Jacques Lecoq
and biomechanics with Alexej Lewinsky (Moscow). Training as a director with
Theater Basel; Burgtheater, Wien; Komische Oper, Berlin
Teaching, Lecturer at the Institut für Theater-, Film und Medienwissenschaft,
University of Vienna. Main subjects: Physical Theatre, Semiotics, Theatre Theory
in the 20th Century, New Media and Performance theory.
Head of Acting at the Akademi for Scenekunst, Fredrikstad, Norway, autumn 2006.
Directing, numerous performances of Theaterverein Meyerhold unltd., Vienna
and many guest perfomances in Europe. Radio Plays and Radio Art for the most
important radio companies in Germany and Austria: ORF (Wien), BR (München), WDR (Köln),
DeutschlandRadio (Berlin), NDR (Hamburg) Contributes to multimedia, intermedia and
interdisciplinary projects with Christoph Theiler and the internet artists MACHFELD
